In Brazil, optimizing a Google Business Profile costs between R$150 and R$1,500 for a one-time service, and between R$300 and R$1,200 a month for ongoing management. Signing up is free, and nobody should charge you for it.

What’s free and what you pay for

Creating the profile, verifying it, filling in the fields, and responding to reviews cost nothing. Google doesn’t charge for any of this, and there’s no paid plan for Google Business Profile.

What you pay for is human work: category and keyword research, writing the services and description, editing and tagging photos, setting up a review process, fixing the consistency between your profile and your website, and ongoing monthly management.

When someone charges you “to register your business on Google,” they’re charging for a free, ten-minute form. That’s not optimization.

Price ranges in Brazil

We looked at what freelancers, small agencies, and mid-size agencies charge today. The ranges are wide because the scope varies a lot from one to another.

  • R$100 to R$250, one-time service or video material. Signup, verification, and basic setup, or a method for doing it yourself.
  • R$300 to R$700, full one-time optimization. Category, services, description, edited photos, first post, and a review plan.
  • R$800 to R$1,500, full optimization with competitor analysis. Everything above, plus regional keyword research and a comparison against whoever holds the top three positions.
  • R$300 to R$1,200 a month, ongoing management. Weekly posts, review responses, reporting, and continuous adjustments.
  • Above R$2,000 a month. Usually includes more than one profile, or a Google Business Profile combined with Google Ads management and a website.

What Ciclicko charges

The profile audit is free, no strings attached: you get a 6-page PDF on WhatsApp within 24 business hours, with a score from 0 to 100, a comparison against 3 competitors on Maps, and a list of what to fix first. We never ask for your password or access, because it’s built from public data.

  • Kit GMN Express, pricing on request, immediate access. For those who’d rather do it themselves. A step-by-step method, optimization built for AI search, a 10-minute setup, and a real-screen tutorial.
  • Standard, pricing on request, 10 days. Full technical optimization, 5 strategic keywords, 10 optimized photos (file name, compression, and caption), a first post written for you, a review strategy PDF, and optimization for “near me” search.
  • Premium, pricing on request, 14 days. Everything in Standard, plus 8 keywords, 15 photos, a competitor audit, a review growth guide, and regional keyword research.

How to know if it’s worth it for you

The math is straightforward and doesn’t depend on guesswork. Open your profile’s Performance dashboard and see how many calls and direction requests you got last month.

Multiply that by what a client is worth to you and by your close rate. If the profile already brings in 20 calls a month and you close 3 at R$800 each, it’s generating R$2,400 a month with no optimization at all. Doubling that justifies any of the price ranges above.

If the profile brings in 2 calls a month and you sell at R$150, the math doesn’t work at any price range, and the problem is probably not the profile. It’s search volume in your area, and no optimization creates demand that doesn’t exist.

Signs the price is wrong

Too cheap and too expensive each have their own warning signs, and both show up in the proposal, not the invoice.

  • Promises first place on Maps. Ranking on Maps depends on the searcher’s distance, which nobody controls. Anyone who promises this either doesn’t know better or isn’t being honest.
  • Charges you to sign up. Signing up is free.
  • Includes a review package. That’s buying reviews under a different name, and the risk is yours.
  • Asks for your Google account password. Optimization is done with owner access, which you grant directly from your profile, with no password needed.
  • Doesn’t show the before and after from the Performance dashboard. If there’s no number at the start, there’s no way to prove the result at the end.

Frequently asked questions

Is optimization a one-time charge or monthly? Both exist. One-time gets the profile in shape; monthly keeps up posts, reviews, and adjustments.

Can you do it yourself? Yes. The step-by-step is open on our blog, and the Kit is there for those who’d rather follow a ready-made path, with pricing sent on request.

How long until it works? Category and services adjustments show up in 3 to 7 days. Reviews and ranking prominence take months.

Do I need to run ads too? No. The profile and ads are separate products, and the profile works without any media spend.

How do I choose who to hire? We’ve laid out the criteria in our optimization checklist and in our comparison of companies in the industry.
