A social media manager in Brazil costs between R$400 and R$3,500 a month in 2026. What drives the price isn’t the social network, it’s how many posts you get per month, whether video is included, whether the caption comes written, and whether someone responds to comments and messages.

The price ranges in practice today

The ranges are wide because the service name alone doesn’t describe anything. Two proposals at R$900 can deliver 4 designs or 20 designs.

  • R$300 to R$600. 4 to 6 static posts a month, no video, no written caption. Usually a freelancer just starting out or a pure design package.
  • R$700 to R$1,200. 8 to 12 posts, with one short video, written captions, and some sense of a calendar. This is the range that covers most small businesses.
  • R$1,500 to R$3,500. 20 to 30 posts, several videos, full copywriting, a schedule, and metrics tracking.
  • Above R$4,000. This includes community management, on-location production, paired Google Ads management, or more than one brand.

What actually changes the price

Four variables explain almost the whole difference, and none of them is the social network itself.

  • Number of posts. This is the item that matters most. A 5-page carousel usually counts as 5 posts, and this is where proposals diverge the most.
  • Video. Editing reels costs several times more than a static design, because it takes several times longer.
  • Who writes the caption. Cheap packages almost always expect you to send the finished text. That’s not a flaw, it’s scope, and it needs to be clear upfront.
  • Who responds. Producing and publishing is one thing. Responding to comments and direct messages every day is another, and it’s the one that eats up the most hours.

The questions that reveal the real scope

Ask all of them in writing before you sign. Anyone who takes the work seriously will answer without hesitation, and the answer becomes the benchmark for the contract.

  • How many posts per month, and does a carousel count as one post or as the number of pages?
  • Is video included? How many, and how long?
  • Who writes the caption?
  • How many revisions per post?
  • Who responds to comments and direct messages?
  • Who posts, you or them? And at what time?
  • Do I keep the editable files if I cancel?

What Ciclicko charges

The content creation plans are monthly, paid upfront, with no fine print. A design means one finished piece, and each carousel page counts as a design.

  • Basic plan. 5 designs, posts or carousels, no Reels. Custom feed template, created to match your brand identity, delivered ready to post, 1 round of revisions. Pricing depends on scope and is sent on request.
  • Standard plan. 10 designs, including up to one 60-second Reel counted in the total. Strategic profile review, 2 rounds of revisions. Pricing depends on scope and is sent on request.
  • Premium plan. 30 designs, up to 5 Reels included, written captions, posting schedule, and 5 strategic hashtags. Pricing depends on scope and is sent on request.

When it’s not worth hiring

Three situations where your money works better elsewhere, and it’s worth saying so before making a sale.

The first is a profile without the basics in place. Hiring content production for an account with no Name field set, no clear bio, and no highlights means filling a space with content that won’t convert the people who show up. Fix your profile first, since that’s free.

The second is a business without a clear offer. Content amplifies what already exists. If your offer still changes every week, every piece you produce goes stale within fifteen days.

The third is anyone who needs sales in the next thirty days. Organic content builds up over time and pays off in months. To hit this month’s numbers, the way to go is paid search, and we wrote about that in what paid search is.

What a low price usually hides

A proposal for R$300 with 12 designs isn’t a miracle or a scam. It’s a different scope, and whatever got cut shows up later.

The most common cut is time per piece. A design made in fifteen minutes from a ready-made template costs little and looks like everyone else’s who uses the same template. That works for a quick announcement or promo, but it doesn’t build a brand.

The second cut is the caption. Many cheap packages deliver the design and expect you to write the copy, and writing ten captions a month is exactly the time sink you were trying to avoid.

The third is revisions. A package with no revisions included turns into an extra charge at the first tweak, and there’s always a tweak.

None of this is dishonest when it’s written down. It becomes a problem when it isn’t, and there’s really just one question that fixes it: send me, in writing, exactly what’s included, item by item.

Frequently asked questions

Freelancer or agency? A freelancer usually costs less and puts all the risk on one person. An agency costs more but has a backup if someone gets sick.

Can I pay based on results? Not for organic content. No one controls reach, and anyone who offers this usually makes up for it with tactics that put your profile at risk.

How long does the contract usually run? Month to month, and three months is the minimum to measure anything honestly.

Do I need to send photos of my business? Yes, and that’s what makes the biggest difference in the result. Content made only with stock images ends up generic.
